A recent post on the “Colour Me Happy” blog by Maria Killam, a Canadian interior designer, sparked lively discussion on granite and quartz countertop preferences. One camp claims quartz is more contemporary and hip while granite is too dated for the modern home. Meanwhile, those in the granite camp celebrates the variety and texture of these countertops for one-of-a-kind style.
