Pairing Maple Cabinets and Granite Countertops

When pairing maple cabinets with granite countertops in the kitchen, here’s some considerations for making sure you get a look that works:

1. Appliances
2. Space and cost
3. Color choices

With light maple cabinets like the ones in the photo below, for example, the owner went with a lighter colored granite countertop and stainless steel accents, creating a warm contemporary atmosphere.

Medium maple cabinets also contrast nicely with lighter granite shades, such as “Vyara.”

Light maple paired with a gray or black countertop creates a sleek modern look. Dark colors, such as Absolute Black granite, are also generally more affordable, so they work well for covering large spaces.
