Did you know Sophisticated Stone outfitted a cooking studio for a local Whole Foods grocery store?
That’s right. Sophisticated Stone constructed the surfaces for the cooking studio at the Whole Foods in Overland Park, Kan., further evidence that our products can stand up to heavy commercial use as well as everyday residential use.
Cooking classes and demonstrations are held each week and feature all natural foods free of artificial colors, preservatives, and flavorings.
Tonight at 6:30 p.m., the lesson focuses on kale, Missouri’s own superfood, and will include special guests from Bear Creek Farm, one of Whole Foods’ local vendors.
On Thursday, learn how to make nutritious whole-grain salads such as “Classic Tabouleh” with the proprietor of Wind Walker Farm, another Whole Foods food vendor.
